Tuesday Champions League Acca
After winning the hearts of nearly everybody, Ajax will be eager to replicate (or even better ) the pops of last year — and I’m backing them to start their own campaign with a flourish against Lille.
Erik ten Hag stays with the club, which is a enormous boost, and I am confident they’ll never let standards drop too much, as they have retained most of last season’s group — with the obvious exceptions of Matthijs de Ligt along with Frenkie de Jong.
Lille have had a mixed start to their time losing their opening 2 Ligue 1 off games from Reims and Amiens –and it’s a tall order to acquire anything from a Ajax side in the street.
RB Leipzig look this year, and I have them beating Benfica.
The side have already tasted defeat in the home this campaign–a 2-0 loss to Porto–while Leipzig sit top of the Bundesliga.
A 3-1 away win at a Borussia Monchengladbach costume a couple of weeks ago is proof of Leipzig’s prowess on the road, and I am confident about their opportunities.
I have RB Salzburg beating Genk.
Genk have struggled this year, winning one off game so far and losing to Zulte Waregem KV Mechelen and Sporting Charleroi.
Salzburg have dominated event and final season showed their prowess to the phase, winning both Europa League set matches from Leipzig, Celtic and Rosenborg, until finally succumbing in the knockouts to Napoli.
This is home side.
